Lao Banzhang Shu Pu-erh Brick is a dense, well-aged ripe pu-erh with a mature and fully developed character. The flavor reveals notes of aged wood, dark dried fruits, gentle sweetness, and a pleasant oily texture. The liquor is thick and rich without excessive heaviness, while the tea maintains its depth and consistency through many infusions. It is particularly well suited to those who appreciate aged shu pu-erh with a clean profile and without sharp fermentation notes.

Produced from large-leaf tea material harvested in 2011 from the Lao Banzhang region. The tea was manufactured by Menghai Zhonghong Tea Factory and pressed into a 200 g brick in 2021. The producer emphasizes the extended aging of the material, the dense body of the liquor, and the stability of the flavor profile. Thanks to the mature leaf material, the tea offers a smooth character, strong extraction, and a depth that gradually unfolds throughout the entire tea session.
