Sheng Puerh Banzhang 2019 is a more mature sheng with a soft, calm profile: light woodiness, dry herbs, subtle sweetness, and a clean, transparent infusion. There is no sharp green aggression — everything feels balanced and composed. The profile is steady, without overload, focused on clarity and balance. A good option when you want depth without excessive sharpness. I would drink it during the day or closer to the evening, though timing is personal — adjust based on your own feeling.

 

This is a raw pu-erh from the Bohai region (Yunnan), pressed into a classic 357 g cake. Produced by Menghai Zhonghong Tea Factory. The tea belongs to the sheng pu-erh category. The material provides a dense and stable extraction without rough astringency; the profile is already formed and balanced. With age, it continues to smooth out — sharpness fades, while clarity and depth increase. With proper storage (dry, well-ventilated environment free from foreign odors), the tea remains stable and gradually develops additional complexity.
