Yunnan Wild Yabao 2026
Yabao is a completely different type of tea, not comparable to classic white tea or shu/sheng pu-erh. Here, it’s not the leaf but the bud. The infusion is light and clear, with soft sweetness, fresh herbal notes, and a subtle hint of dried fruit. It drinks easily, without heaviness — unfolding calmly and evenly. The profile is very clean, with no bitterness or weight. This tea is more about state and gentle focus than density or strength.
The material consists of spring buds from the Yunnan region. The format is wild / semi-wild tree buds, with no leaves. Processing is minimal, closer to a white/raw style, preserving natural sweetness and lightness. The tea is young (2026), with a fresh profile that will become softer and deeper over time with proper storage.
